This program will define private label and give an overview of the industry, who its drivers are, and who owns the brand. It will also cover difference between ALDI, Woolworths, Coles and independents; and provide supplier strategic considerations and commercial modelling (packaging, supply chain, infrastructure, terms true cost).
Participants will learn about retail engagement, including tender documents and negotiation skills, retailer expectations (inventory management, forecast, and account management) and getting retail ready – competitor analysis, cost expectations. Managing risk is also covered, with examples provided. For businesses looking to move into tradeshows, or buyer platform meetings, this program will provide them with the expert tools for success.
